I am a therapist truly interested in helping others through life challenges both big and small and appreciate the opportunity to do so. In my practice I approach each individual with care and professionalism by providing the highest quality counseling services that will best match each persons uniqueness and situation. I have a broad range of skills and experiences that I use to create an opportunity for change and growth during therapy sessions. I am very authentic with my clients and believe that you will find the environment an excellent space to talk comfortably. I have been counseling children, teenagers, adults, couples and families since 1996. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Washington with a diverse and experienced background in helping others through challenging times. I have been a therapist in the Olympia, Gig Harbor, and Lakewood communities before opening my practice in the Proctor District in Tacoma in 2005.

As a counselor I have worked in both private practice and public service. I worked parttime with Greater Lakes Mental Healthcare as a School Therapist and Supervisor from 2010 - 2022. In this position I provided mental health therapy to students in the Clover Park School District onsite in their school building. Previously I have been employed as a Child and Family Therapist at Behavioral Health Resources in Thurston County and as a Child and Family Therapist at Comprehensive Mental Health in Pierce County. I was the Crisis Counselor at Clover Park Technical College for over 3 years, serving college students with a variety of challenges. I also have worked with high school students as a Behavior Intervention Specialist assisting students with emotional and behavioral IEP's in the Peninsula School District.

My interest in athletics and studies in sport psychology have helped me become a respected coach and sports performance therapist to athletes of all skill and age levels. I have been a head coach at the College, High School and Middle School levels. I have worked with athletes in all sports and specialize in mental game coaching with Golf, Tennis, Gymnastics, Baseball, Track & Field and Running.
